We need to change the way we use water, we currently use high quality drinking water for all activities in the home, but we only drink 4% of this water. We need a water use hierarchy that captures waste water from showers, laundry machines , AC units and uses this for WC flushing or irrigation. Rain water collection is fine, but water stressed areas have less rain, eg Dubia, so still need greywater recovery, and apartment owners can’t act alone to access rain water harvesting opportunities.
