About Carbon13

Carbon13 will select and support thousands of entrepreneurs to build ventures with the potential to mitigate over 400 million tonnes of CO2e per annum by 2040.

We do this through identifying thousands of the world’s most determined entrepreneurs to build ventures capable of mitigating at least 10M tonnes of CO2e per annum once at scale.

To date, we have invested in over 44 climate tech ventures.


How our programmes work


We have two programmes. 

The Venture Builder programme runs twice a year in Cambridge, UK, and twice a year in Berlin, Germany. Each cohort of receives circa 1000 applications for 80 places, and we typically invest in 12 ventures per cohort. 

The Venture Launchpad is a 100% remote, global programme open to pre seed climate tech startups with our next cohort starting in May. 

Each programme is supported by a world class ecosystem including over 250 domain experts including carbon experts, entrepreneurs in residence and strategic corporate partners such as EY, Arm and Barclays.  

Through these programmes Carbon13 provides investors with access to its ventures at the earliest opportunities and lowest valuations.
