With the current rate of vehicle electrification pacing up, there is still a huge gap in the market where the used cars aren’t adressed and therefore by 2030 there will be less than 10% of EV’s and plug-in hybrids combined on a global scale. REEV Electric is an early stage startup with a vision to accelerate the path to electrified mobility by making EVs affordable to the general public, by developing a universal and modular solution that is cost effective for mass market conversion of existing cars into Plug-in Hybrids.
The main solution revolves around adding an electric motor to the existing driveline and installing a really thin battery under the car.
There are three Core Tech areas that are pre-developed – battery module, battery structure and motor belt connection
Until now we were focused on the battery solution, because we believe this is something that can first hit the market, and now I need a co-founder/s who understand the market and can lead the go to market activities.
