Commercial cofounder

Hi,

We are Saemyra labs. We are looking for a commercial lead/co-founder who will take on the exciting challenge.
We are developing technology to break down plastic waste into the basic building block molecules, which are then reintroduced to the value chain. This is not a university spinout project. We have collaborations with 3 universities, and the technical lead initiated the idea.

Originally, we already pitched during phase 2 of the Berlin cohort 4, and we decided to change directions. We want to continue the momentum we have built. We are 2 at the moment: the technical lead, and his intern/associate in the lab, who also does pitching in German at external events when needed.

We are looking for someone with the following preferred skills or experience.
– Fundraising
– Customer discovery
– Collaboration projects
– Investor relations
– External communications
– Pitching

Nice to have skills and experience (not required) are:
– Marketing
– Grant writing
– SNS maintenance
– Previous experience with plastics, waste treatment, sludge treatment, retail, packaging, FMCG, or textiles is also welcome.

As this is an ad for co-founder, we will be signing articles of association and a founder’s agreement.
The lab is currently located in Ulm, Germany. Remote/hybrid work is available for the commercial co-founder.
Preferred location would be the DACH region. Also, open for EU or UK locations.
