one-stop CBAM solution for the global supply chain

Today Cbamboo announces its £1m pre-seed funding round led by Pale blue dot and supported by Mudcake (prev. Trellis Road), PUSH, Prequel Ventures and angel investors.

Today’s global firms know they must tackle carbon emissions in their supply chain. But they struggle to respond to the EU’s flagship climate policy, CBAM. The new rules are confusing and demanding — the software to master CBAM simply doesn’t exist.

That’s why Gabriel Rozenberg and Daniel Sharp started Cbamboo in Cohort 5 of the Carbon13 Venture Builder Programme in Cambridge.

Their platform puts the needs of the CBAM user first. Their compliance tools enable accurate and speedy filing of CBAM reports. In the coming months, Cbamboo will become a one-stop CBAM solution for the global supply chain, guiding manufacturers and distributors through the new rules and helping them track and securely share mandatory data with their customers.

Cbamboo Cofounders Gabriel Rozenberg and Daniel Sharp:
“We couldn’t have built Cbamboo without Carbon13, the venture builder for the climate emergency. Thank you to Sarah Dees and Stephanie Alys for your wise guidance, to Paul Bourne, Jordan Torch and Mai Silk for your hands-on help, to Michael Langguth, Nicky Dee, Jonathan Cumming and the wider team for your advice and partnership.”
