Founder’s Associate – Climate tech | Real Estate
Contract: 3-month fixed term, Full time (with potential to extend)
Location: London (Hybrid – 2-3 days/week at The Conduit, Convent Garden)
Start Date: Immediate ideally
Pay: £25000-£30,000 Pro rata, As an early-stage startup, we’re offering a modest salary for now, but with the potential to grow into a permanent role with share options.

About the Role
We’re looking for a thoughtful, curious and purpose-driven Founder’s Associate to join us for 3 months and help guide our next phase of growth. You’ll work closely with our founders, Amandeep, CEO and Thomas, CTO, across strategy, content, partnerships and product.
It’s a hands-on, flexible and collaborative role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across disciplines and contributing to meaningful climate work at an early stage.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Property research & data: Help us source, clean and structure UK housing and retrofit data, including heat loss estimates, solar potential and upgrade costs to uncover impactful investment opportunities.
- Content & comms: Write and schedule content for our LinkedIn, website and external publications, updates, insights, and opinion pieces.
- External Outreach: Support the development of pitch decks, one-pagers, email campaigns and partner materials.
- Ops & growth: Work on pilot projects, explore and apply for grant opportunities and help drive key relationships forward.
- Product input: Help shape the design and usability of early tools and dashboards based on user feedback.
Who You Might Be
We don’t expect you to tick every box. If you’re excited about our mission and think you could contribute, we’d love to hear from you.
You might be:
- A grad, freelancer or career switcher or industry veteran with strong writing and research skills
- Someone who’s organised and enjoys turning ideas into clear outputs
- Interested in climate innovation, housing, retrofit or impact investing.
- Comfortable using Notion, Google Workspace and LinkedIn (or a fast learner)
- A clear communicator who enjoys crafting engaging content
- Someone who works well with ambiguity and adapts as you go
- Comfortable using AI tools in your workflow to work more efficiently
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with building physics or retrofit design
- Experience in real estate investment/fund management/development
- Experience in data or software development.
Working at The Conduit
You would be working in person 2 days a week at The Conduit **with Amandeep, an incredible space in Soho filled with changemakers working on sustainability, equity and innovation. It’s where ideas flow and connections are made.
