Carbon13 delighted to announce that we’ve been selected as a Finalist for the Accelerator of the Year Award at the UKBAA Angel Investment Awards 2025!

The Award, sponsored by Kin Group recognises “the accelerator with the most dynamic and innovative programme of support for early stage founders.”

Carbon13 is proud to have its programmes, the Venture Builder and the Venture Launchpad, recognised by the investor community in these awards. We work hard to support our founders to build investable ventures, because we believe that entrepreneurs can scale solutions to the climate emergency, when supported by the right funding at the right time.

We’re the only finalist in our category to have a climate focus, so it is notable that our performance is considered as impressive as non-climate accelerators.

Since 2021, our programmes has worked with over 1250 founders and invested in 84 ventures. 10% of our portfolio have garnered Earthshot nominations, and gone on to raise £38million in follow-on funding from the likes of SFC, DCVC, Pale Blue Dot, Octopus Ventures and Planet A.
