AdvanceD biomass electrolysis technology to tackle the toughest problems in climate

KI Hydrogen from Cambridge Cohort 4 have secured a £470k Innovate UK grant.

Smart Grants are notoriously competitive, with this round funding 46 projects out of 1,911 submitted applications through Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency. Their project was chosen for both its innovation and scalability, promising significant national and international impact. In a next step they’ll collaborating with the Birmingham Energy Institute, leveraging their expertise to advance our biomass electrolysis technology.

A special thanks to our COO, Carl Banbury, PhD, who spent countless weekends getting this grant across the line. His dedication and hard work were instrumental in securing this funding.
